B. Braun Brings Mobility to Life with AirWatch-enabled BYOD Initiative

B. Braun Melsungen AG, a global healthcare company with more than 50,000 employees across 60 countries, needed a secure enterprise mobility management solution to support a BYOD program and give staff anytime, anywhere access to email and corporate resources. To meet its strict security, privacy, and worldwide compliance requirements, the company selected VMware AirWatch.

Using VMware AirWatch, B. Braun deployed more than 7,500 iOS devices and created region-specific BYOD policies to protect personal data while enabling corporate access. VMware AirWatch also integrated with SAML, Microsoft Active Directory, and Lotus Notes, helped manage more than 20 internal and public apps through the AirWatch Catalog, and supported compliance across countries; the result was lower device costs, improved employee productivity, and a scalable mobility platform for global use.
