Anz Bank Takes Mobile Banking To New Levels With Vmware Airwatch

ANZ Bank, one of Australia’s largest financial institutions, wanted to fully embrace the digital banking revolution and make tools and apps available on mobile devices for both customers and employees. To support that goal, the bank turned to VMware AirWatch and related VMware mobile and app management capabilities.

VMware AirWatch helped ANZ securely manage 18,000 devices across 34 countries, while the AirWatch Software Development Kit enabled the bank to build more than 20 custom mobile apps. The solution improved mobility for bankers, supported digital branches and kiosk-based customer experiences, and helped speed application delivery, reduce downtime, and increase productivity and customer engagement.
