Allocab Drives its Mobility Project with AirWatch

Allocab, a French leader in car and motorbike services, needed a way to manage its 1,000 partner drivers’ smartphones and streamline the deployment of its mobile booking app across BYOD and company-owned devices. Using VMware AirWatch, including AirWatch App Catalog, the company aimed to support secure mobile operations for drivers in 22 cities while simplifying recruitment and day-to-day mobility.

With VMware AirWatch, Allocab centralized device management, app distribution, and security controls for iOS and Android devices, while also providing a customized app catalog for drivers. The solution enabled faster onboarding, cut recruitment time in half, improved security with remote locate/wipe capabilities, and helped Allocab handle 350 to 450 booking requests per day more efficiently through the Allocab Driver app.
