AirWatch Helps Transform Lebanese Education with Mobile Learning Initiative

Triple C, a leading Lebanese IT solutions provider and partner of AirWatch, managed the Open Your Tomorrow initiative to support the Lebanese Ministry of Telecommunications and Ministry of Education in bringing mobile learning to students. The challenge was to securely deploy and manage a large-scale educational tablet program—starting with 15,000 3G-enabled Intel-designed Android tablets and scaling toward 400,000 devices—while controlling access to educational content, portals, and applications for students ages 6 to 18.

AirWatch provided the Mobile Device Management (MDM) and broader EMM capabilities used to secure, monitor, and control the tablets, along with support for content management and application management. Triple C chose AirWatch for its strong Gartner recognition, device-agnostic support, and faster implementation, and AirWatch also worked with Intel to test an API for controlling USB debugging on the tablets. The solution enabled a cloud-hosted, secure mobile learning platform operated by the telecom providers Alpha and Touch, helping establish a foundation for nationwide education transformation in Lebanon.
