A VIZpin Case Study
The Islamic Society of Greater Lowell, a mosque and community center in Chelmsford, MA, was managing access with traditional locks and an increasing number of physical keys, and had “begun losing track of who had the keys” which made access management a nightmare. Seeking a simple mobile-based solution, ISGL was introduced to VIZpin (via Tesla Electrical Services, LLC) and considered VIZpin’s smartphone access control as a replacement for keys and keycards.
VIZpin installed a smartphone-based reader at ISGL’s main entrance and provisioned users through its cloud management and mobile app, allowing administrators to enable/disable access instantly and removing the need to grant, revoke, or replace lost or stolen keys or cards. The system was quick to install, low maintenance, and was rapidly adopted by users; ISGL reported that VIZpin eliminated IT time spent replacing lost/damaged cards and met their needs for function, usability, and price.
