Advanced Access Control for the Future of Shared Work Environments Advent Coworking Deploys VIZpin Solution

Advent Coworking, a 5,000 sq. ft. coworking space in Charlotte, N.C., needed reliable, scalable 24/7 access control that was cost‑efficient and easy to deploy. After evaluating traditional keys, fobs and card readers, Advent Coworking selected VIZpin’s cloud-based Bluetooth Access Control as a Service (ACaaS) to secure the facility and manage member entry with smartphones.

VIZpin deployed Bluetooth readers and virtual smartphone keys managed through its cloud portal, allowing remote issuance, revocation and monitoring of access. Advent Coworking estimates at least a 50% cost savings versus a typical system (avoiding ~$5 fob costs and lower reader/installation expenses), faster, simpler installation, and improved security and scalability because managers can control access from anywhere and members are unlikely to forget their phones.
