Hercules Offshore, a global rig operator with the largest shallow-water jackup fleet in the Gulf of Mexico, faced paper-based maintenance across its rigs that made retaining asset and work history, capturing costs, and enforcing best practices impossible. To modernize, Hercules selected Oracle E-Business Suite with eAM as its CMMS and engaged VIZIYA (and implementation partner Global PTM) to support ERP-based asset management—leveraging VIZIYA’s WorkAlign bolt-on approach to enhance the eAM deployment.

VIZIYA’s solution helped Hercules build a consistent equipment database and roll out standardized processes, with Oracle eAM now live at 16 domestic rigs and additional sites in progress. As a result (per the VIZIYA case study), downtime has been reduced through faster repairs and inter-rig parts visibility, IT and support costs fell by eliminating reconciliations and interfaces, and decision-making improved via on-line asset cost and maintenance history—demonstrating the tangible operational benefits VIZIYA enabled.
