Untitled, a home entertainment film studio, was struggling to optimize Paid Search campaigns and accurately track iTunes download conversions because of iTunes’ limited purchase-tracking. They engaged Vizion Interactive to build a measurement-backed strategy across AdWords and Bing and to wrangle the affiliate data they could capture.
Vizion Interactive implemented a tracking schema in Untitled’s iTunes affiliate tags to map downloads to specific campaigns and ad groups, deployed targeted keyword groups with tailored ad copy, and tested budget allocations to optimize CPC, CVR and cost per download. The work drove a 400% lift in iTunes download conversion rate (from 0.29% to 1.45%) and a 75% decrease in cost per download quarter-over-quarter, with Vizion Interactive continuing daily optimization.
