OnlineShoes.com, the nation’s first online shoe retailer founded in 1996, wanted to increase organic search traffic and had not yet implemented a holistic SEO program. To address this challenge they engaged Vizion Interactive for SEO consulting and services focused on improving organic visibility and sales.

Vizion Interactive implemented a comprehensive SEO program—keyword research, content revision and creation, information architecture, competitive analysis, social media efforts, URL rewriting/redirects, and metadata recommendations—which led to the highest number of pages indexed since November 2008 and the highest percentage of sales from organic search since tracking began. Organic traffic showed strong month-over-month gains (+5% June over May, +9% July over June, +14% August over July), August 2009 gross organic demand was the highest ever, and by September 2010 overall organic gross demand was up 20% versus August 2010 and 11% versus 2009, with organic growth outpacing other channels.
