Interstate Batteries engaged Vizion Interactive to diagnose and fix gaps in SEO best practices ahead of an Endeca site framework update. They sought a comprehensive audit covering technical factors (indexing/crawling), on-page issues, design, local search, social, and link equity to increase SEO traffic and ensure a smooth transition.
Vizion Interactive conducted an in-depth SEO audit and implemented code revisions, error-page redirections, duplicate-content fixes, keyword targeting, a major URL restructure (bringing lower-level pages closer to the site root), removal of empty folders, keyword-rich folder naming, and high-quality product-category content. After the early-June 2014 relaunch, Top-20 Google keywords rose from 4,502 to 7,359 (+61%), Organic Search value increased from $56K/month to $164K/month, and organic search traffic lifted 18% (May–Nov 2014).
