Tungnan University, a hillside campus in New Taipei City serving about 7,300 students, had outgrown its aging analog surveillance system: cameras produced unstable, low‑quality images and equipment was vulnerable to weather and occasional power outages. Working with distributor Apogear, the university selected VIVOTEK as the vendor to deliver a modern, rugged IP surveillance solution, including VIVOTEK cameras (models such as IP8364‑C, IP8362, IP8332‑C, FD8134) and the VAST video management platform.

VIVOTEK implemented a campus‑wide system of 135 network cameras (including 66 IP8364‑C bullets, 20 IP8332‑C bullets and six FD8134 domes) and nine ND8401 NVRs, all integrated under VIVOTEK’s VAST with VAST Matrix video‑wall capability.
