A VIVOTEK Case Study
I-Mei Foods, a leading Taiwanese food manufacturer, engaged VIVOTEK to upgrade security at its I-Mei Foods Apprentices Training Center. The goal was to move from lower-definition CCTV to a centralized, secure IP-based system that supports remote monitoring, high-definition video, and an autonomous network—necessitating a fiber optic backbone to handle megapixel-class camera bandwidth and to cover diverse indoor and outdoor production, retail and park environments.
VIVOTEK planned and deployed a 330‑camera solution (281 IP8332, 11 IP8335H, 37 dome cameras and 1 SD8362E), installed the required fiber optic network, and provided detailed system schematics and integration. The VIVOTEK system delivers clear Full HD and WDR-enabled footage that allows staff to read license plates and even cashier bill denominations, simplifies remote monitoring from a central control room, and has proven easy to use—demonstrable results from the 330-camera VIVOTEK deployment and improved site security and situational awareness.
