Hamleys’ flagship toy store in Antara Mall, Mexico City needed a surveillance solution that protected its youngest customers without disrupting the store’s carefully designed, child-friendly environment. SIIDE Ingenieria selected VIVOTEK cameras — notably the FE8181 fisheye and IB8369 bullet models — to provide discreet, high-performance monitoring that blends into the store’s décor while eliminating blind spots.

VIVOTEK’s approach placed streamlined FE8181 360° cameras among ceiling “clouds” and IB8369 units at sales points, delivering full coverage with just 16 cameras across the 800 m² store. The installation, completed in three months despite complex construction constraints, preserved the store’s aesthetic, ensured comprehensive protection for customers, and left SIIDE and VIVOTEK better prepared to deploy discrete, high-coverage systems for future retail projects.
