VIVOTEK MD7560 Turns Safety in Belgrade into a Walk in the Park

City of Belgrade, Serbia engaged VIVOTEK to secure Tasmajdan Park during a high-profile reconstruction and reopening that attracted intense public and media attention. The challenge was to provide comprehensive, high‑definition surveillance across entrances, walkways, playgrounds, monuments and other park areas to improve public safety and enable reliable post-event identification; VIVOTEK’s MD7560 cameras and ST7501 video management software (installed with distributor NETIKS) were selected for the task.

VIVOTEK deployed MD7560 2‑megapixel (1600 x 1200) cameras throughout the park and installed ST7501 LiveClient and Playback modules at local police stations for real‑time monitoring and forensic search/export. The VIVOTEK solution delivered clearer imagery and simultaneous live viewing/search capabilities, was judged “much more effective” than the previous system by the City of Belgrade Technical Department, and earned praise from police and local media—improving overall park safety and evidence-gathering capacity.
