Cosmos Co-operative Bank, a century-old financial institution headquartered in central Pune, needed to protect its people, property and reputation amid heavy pedestrian and vehicle flows and the heightened risks around its on-site datacenter and high-security safe. After a detailed risk assessment and design by Bajaj Electricals, the bank selected VIVOTEK and its IP surveillance products (models IP8335H, FD8136, SD8326) to deliver a modern, unobtrusive security solution.
VIVOTEK supplied and deployed 136 network cameras — 103 FD8136 ultra‑mini fixed‑domes for interior areas, 29 IP8335H bullets for basement parking with WDR and IR day/night capability, and 4 SD8326 speed‑domes with 36x zoom for perimeter and plate recognition — providing discreet, weatherproof, 24/7 monitoring. The VIVOTEK system improved megapixel indoor visibility, reliable night-time identification of objects and number plates, and continuous coverage that strengthened employee and customer safety and met the bank’s risk‑mitigation objectives.
