VIVOTEK Fortifies Renowned German Hypermarket EDEKA Voth

EDEKA Voth, a retail branch of the EDEKA group in Lemgo, Germany, needed a more impermeable security infrastructure to better protect customers and employees. In 2013 they engaged VIVOTEK (working with distributor SECOMP) to evaluate and deliver a camera-based surveillance solution for the store.

VIVOTEK implemented 24 network cameras (models FD8166, FD8335H, IP7361 and MD7560) to cover grocery aisles, entrances, exits and the warehouse loading area, installed in November 2013. The VIVOTEK system provided robust indoor/outdoor coverage, higher-quality, bandwidth-efficient recording and easier operations; EDEKA Voth reports significantly increased surveillance stringency, full satisfaction with performance, and confidence in future collaboration.
