Levi Strauss & Co.® Germany, the retail arm of the global apparel brand, faced an aging, fragmented analog surveillance environment across its 50 stores that left systems unstable and monitoring decentralized. After consulting Tango Security, DCD Karlsruhe and distributor SECOMP, the company selected VIVOTEK to provide an integrated IP surveillance upgrade using VIVOTEK cameras and the VIVOTEK VAST management software.

VIVOTEK deployed a nationwide solution—400 FD8167-T fixed dome cameras, ND8301 NVRs, PoE switches and VAST central management—covering cash counters, back offices, entrances, sales areas and fitting room entrances. The VIVOTEK system delivered 2MP/1080p 30fps high‑resolution video with remote focus, P‑iris and PIR detection, enabling centralized HQ oversight and local store monitoring, real‑time alarms and searchable incidents—measurably securing 50 stores with a stable, high‑performance IP surveillance network.
