City of Halle, Belgium needed upgraded surveillance for its police station and City Hall to address increasingly sophisticated criminal activity and very mixed lighting conditions across parking lots, entrances, corridors and a jail. VIVOTEK was selected to provide the surveillance solution, supplying network cameras (including FD8162 as well as IP7361 and SD8121 models) and VAST software to meet the site's varied technical requirements.
VIVOTEK’s deployment combined IP7361s for outdoor areas, FD8162 domes with Wide Dynamic Range for high-contrast interiors, and SD8121 PTZs (12x optical zoom, 360° pan/90° tilt, up to 128 presets and 3D noise reduction) for jail and parking coverage, integrated with Synology NAS. The result was improved 24/7 monitoring and image quality across challenging environments, seamless storage integration, and strong positive feedback from integrators and partners — a validated, user-friendly surveillance upgrade delivered by VIVOTEK.
