Samsung Mobile Display, the Chun-An-based AMOLED R&D and manufacturing unit, needed a state-of-the-art surveillance solution to maintain strict quality control and detect manufacturing defects—even under low-light conditions. To meet requirements for pan/tilt/zoom capability, high image clarity, and centralized management, Samsung Mobile Display engaged Hansung SMB Solution to deploy VIVOTEK cameras, specifically the SD8363E and FD8365EHV models.
VIVOTEK installed a total of 93 cameras—77 SD8363E speed‑domes (1080p Full HD, 20x optical zoom, 360° pan/220° tilt, audio detection) and 16 FD8365EHV fixed domes (2MP@30fps, 3D noise reduction, P‑iris)—across the production lines. The VIVOTEK deployment delivered high‑resolution, low‑light imaging and precise PTZ control for real‑time defect detection, reduced sensor noise and bandwidth through 3D noise reduction, and streamlined monitoring for improved quality control and minimized downtime.
