Varun Beverages Limited, one of PepsiCo’s largest franchisees outside the US, faced theft, poor video quality, limited coverage, cabling issues, and difficulty monitoring hygiene, manpower, and machine activity across its plants in India. Its existing analogue surveillance system produced blurred, indistinct images that made it hard to recognize faces or clearly view distant areas. VIVOTEK, working with Network Technology, was brought in to replace the legacy setup with a more effective surveillance solution.

VIVOTEK implemented an IP surveillance system using models including FE8180, SD8363E, CC8370-HV, FD8169, IB8369, and IB8367, all managed through VIVOTEK VAST. After surveying the plants, identifying critical zones, and deploying cameras across boundary walls, loading areas, and other key locations, VIVOTEK completed commissioning and user training before handover. The result was improved image quality, better centralized monitoring, stronger control over production and administrative areas, reduced theft, and more consistent adherence to company protocols for hygiene and operations.
