The Landis Taipei Hotel World Class Accommodation Protected by World Class Surveillance

The Landis Taipei Hotel, a 5-star luxury property in Taipei’s central business district, required a stringent, higher-resolution surveillance system to better protect guests and their assets after relying on an analog setup. To address needs for clear image quality and wider outdoor and parking coverage, The Landis Taipei Hotel adopted an IP-based security solution from VIVOTEK, including VIVOTEK’s cameras and the ST7501 video management software.

VIVOTEK implemented a multi-model deployment—four FE8174V and three FE8172 fisheye cameras for 180° perimeter and 360° lobby coverage, five FD8134 and one FD8363 dome cameras for communal areas and the main entrance (FD8363 with IR and WDR), and three IP8151 units outside elevators—providing 24-hour clear imagery, no blind spots, and improved low-light performance. The VIVOTEK system has increased operational and management efficiency and strengthened guest safety and asset protection across the hotel.
