Sido Muncul Installs VIVOTEK Camera System to Revolutionize its Plant Security and Further Ensure the High Quality of its Health Products

Sido Muncul, one of Indonesia’s leading producers of Jamu and other health products, needed to upgrade security across its 34‑hectare Klepu plant after its analog CCTV and PC recording system proved unreliable, lacked IR capability, and could not meet strict GMP-quality monitoring requirements. The company engaged VIVOTEK to provide a modern IP‑based surveillance solution, including cameras and a new video management system.

VIVOTEK installed 200 cameras — including 150 IP8332 day/night bullets (1 MP, 1280x800 at 30 fps, IR to 15 m), FD8134 domes for offices, and IP8362/IP7361 bullets for outdoor coverage — and delivered a stable VIVOTEK video management system. The upgrade delivered high‑quality, round‑the‑clock imaging across the plant, improved loss prevention and process/waste monitoring, simplified installation and maintenance, and replaced the previous unstable recording setup with a reliable, scalable VIVOTEK solution.
