Siam Paragon in Thailand Gets a VIVOTEK Overhaul

Siam Paragon, the landmark shopping center in Thailand, required a full overhaul of its eight-year-old CCTV system—replacing coaxial cabling with UTP and migrating to an IP-based platform under a tight four-month deadline with work limited to after-hours. VIVOTEK installed 700 cameras (models FD8161, FD8162, SD8362E, IP8362, MD8562) with intelligent NVRs, analytics (People Counting, POS integration, Face Detection), SD‑card backup and NVR failover in a modular, no-single-point-of-failure design.
