Moldovian Capital Installs VIVOTEK Cameras to Secure Historic City Hall
Chişinău City Hall, a 110+ year‑old historic municipal building in Moldova’s capital, needed high‑quality, around‑the‑clock surveillance to protect the landmark, its grounds and visiting VIPs. Working with local distributor Moldova Security, the city selected VIVOTEK cameras (IP7361, FD8161 and SD8362E) to meet strict image‑quality, reliability and preservation requirements.
VIVOTEK installed the IP7361, FD8161 and SD8362E 2‑megapixel IP cameras—equipped with WDR, removable IR‑cut filters, tamper detection, IP67 weather‑proofing, PoE and SD/SDHC storage—delivering optimized bandwidth, video cropping and real‑time MPEG‑4/MJPEG streams. The deployment provided reliable 24/7 identification and resilient outdoor operation (SD8362E rated −40°C to 55°C, suitable for Moldova’s average January −4°C), noticeably strengthening security and helping preserve the historic City Hall.
