Mexico Prestigious Automotive Parts Manufacturer Grupo GONHER Enhances Its Security and Management Efficiency with VIVOTEK’s Network Cameras

Grupo GONHER, a Monterrey-based automotive parts manufacturer with distribution across Mexico, needed a centralized, high-quality surveillance system to monitor its growing number of facilities in real time. To meet this challenge they partnered with VIVOTEK (through local distributor Novalan Computers & Networking) to deploy VIVOTEK IP network cameras, including FD8161 recessed 2‑MP models and outdoor speed domes, supported by a 200 Mbps link to their central monitoring center.

VIVOTEK installed 85 cameras across the sites, enabling real-time feeds and recorded playback for security teams and bringing 31 distribution centers under centralized monitoring. The solution delivered clearer imaging for faces and license plates, fast pan/tilt tracking outdoors, and noticeably improved security and management efficiency — prompting Grupo GONHER to plan further camera rollouts — all made possible by VIVOTEK’s technology.
