India’s Largest Gas Company Installs VIVOTEK Cameras at 1000 Stations

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a state-controlled oil & gas company headquartered in Mumbai, needed to centralize and modernize surveillance across its petrol stations to improve operational oversight, customer service and safety. Following a competitive bid, VIVOTEK was selected to supply its IP8362 cameras (SUPREME series) for a program to install 5,000 high‑performance cameras at 1,000 BPCL stations.

More than 100 stations have been outfitted so far with a target of 5,000 cameras across 1,000 stations by year‑end; the VIVOTEK deployment has already improved management visibility of service quality and safety and provided archived footage for incident review.
