Hungarian Spa in Hajdúszoboszló Enhances Its Security with VIVOTEK’s Innovative Surveillance Solutions

HungaroSpa, the thermal spa complex in Hajdúszoboszló, Hungary, needed to upgrade an aging analog surveillance system to ensure safer, more comfortable visits across its open-air baths, pools and indoor facilities for international tourists. To meet this challenge the spa engaged VIVOTEK (via integrator Satrax and distributor Alphasonic) to install a modern network surveillance solution, including Panoramic PTZ and a range of VIVOTEK fixed dome, bullet and speed‑dome cameras.

VIVOTEK deployed 173 network cameras—featuring Panoramic PTZ with 5‑MP fisheye and full‑HD speed domes to cover the 50 m × 50 m central pool, plus IP8332/IP8335H/IP7361/FD8136/FD8134/IP8131 models—along with the VS8100 video server to digitize existing analog cameras and VAST central management software with iViewer mobile access. The implementation delivered 180°/360° coverage with no blind spots, centralized monitoring and recording (two operators oversee the site full time), and full digital integration of legacy feeds—measurable outcomes include 173 VIVOTEK cameras installed and comprehensive surveillance across the facility.
