Fortis Hospital in Ludhiana, India needed a surveillance upgrade to protect patients, staff and expensive medical equipment without interrupting its 24/7 operations. VIVOTEK, working with system integrator Computer Services Integration Pvt. Ltd., was chosen to supply an IP surveillance solution using VIVOTEK cameras (54 × IP8133 indoors, 5 × IP8332 outdoors) and the ST7501 video management software.
VIVOTEK’s deployment—completed in October 2013—installed cameras with tamper detection, built-in PIR human detection, IR illumination and multi-stream capability, all managed centrally via ST7501 for real-time monitoring, recording, playback and event triggers. The result: seamless, non-disruptive installation and improved patient, staff and grounds security, with Fortis Hospital staff reporting high user-friendliness and effective centralized control.
