A VIVOTEK Case Study

Preview of the Bank SinoPac Case Study

Bank SinoPac Adopts Integrated IP Solutions from VIVOTEK

Bank SinoPac, a subsidiary of SinoPac Holdings with an extensive branch network, faced growing security challenges as it moved away from an analog surveillance framework and required clearer, more recognizable video—especially around teller areas where transactions and legal document handling occur. To upgrade while integrating with existing systems, Bank SinoPac selected VIVOTEK’s IP surveillance solution, notably the IP8362 network bullet camera.

VIVOTEK implemented 75 IP8362 cameras across 15 Bank SinoPac branches during April–May 2014, delivering 2MP 1080p/30fps recording with WDR, removable IR-cut filter and built‑in IR illuminators for reliable day/night capture. The deployment provided comprehensive teller-area coverage, sharper transaction and document footage, and improved capture of details in challenging lighting, enhancing centralized security management and reducing risk—measurable by the 75 cameras installed and coverage of 15 branches, with plans to expand further with VIVOTEK.
