Lundia, a long-established Finnish furniture manufacturer and retailer, needed a better way to help shoppers understand and choose from its highly customizable shelving and cabinet options as customer expectations evolved and competition increased. Working with VividWorks, Lundia looked to improve visualization, streamline sales, and make complex product choices easier for both B2C customers and resellers through a 3D product configuration and CPQ platform.
VividWorks implemented a real-time 3D configurator, Visual CPQ, and room-planning tools that let customers and sales reps visualize custom shelving setups, change colors and materials, and see precise measurements before purchase. The solution improved the customer journey and helped drive sales performance: Lundia reported that adding black shelving to the configurator doubled sales in many stores in the first quarter, and products shown in the planning tool generally sold better than those not visualized.
