HomeCare Professionals, a Daly City–based home care provider, faced chronic caregiver scarcity and high turnover that drove up costs and made recruiting and retention difficult. To help stabilize pay and support low-wage caregivers, the company added Viventium Pay through its Viventium payroll platform as an on-demand pay benefit.

Viventium implemented Viventium Pay and HomeCare Professionals reports 80 employees enrolled (about 36% of 220 on payroll) with 36 employees actively using the service (~16% engagement), calling it their most-used benefit after the 401(k). The program has already coincided with an uptick in applicants and is expected to improve retention by giving caregivers a flexible pay option that makes staying with the agency more attractive.
