Write2Spell2Read uses Vitrium Security to prevent its educational program materials from being distributed and used illegally

Write2Spell2Read, an Australian literacy program for teachers, therapists and parents, faced the challenge of protecting years of proprietary educational PDF materials from illegal distribution and misuse. They needed Digital Rights Management that would control who accessed content, limit the number of devices per user, and prevent printing or copying—without forcing customers to install special plug‑ins. Write2Spell2Read chose Vitrium and its Vitrium Security solution to meet those needs.

Vitrium Security encrypts Write2Spell2Read’s PDFs via a simple dashboard and produces a secured PDF and a secure web link (viewable in Adobe Reader without extra apps), while enforcing printing/copy restrictions, device limits, expiries and user revocation. By deploying Vitrium, Write2Spell2Read protected its revenue stream, moved to per‑computer licensing, and reduced unauthorized use to levels “that do not have an impact on our business,” according to IT Manager Michael Cappellone.
