WPS, a leading independent publisher of educational and psychological assessments, faced the challenge of securely delivering proprietary PDFs and replacing paper products while preventing intellectual property theft. To address this, WPS has relied on Vitrium — using Vitrium Security since 2013 — to ensure their sensitive content is accessible only to paying customers and to protect both revenue and brand reputation.

Vitrium implemented a DRM-based solution (copy and print limits, dynamic watermarks, device/browser limits, expiry settings), secure delivery channels (email secure links, a fully customized Vitrium portal, and integration with WPS’s website and Online Evaluation System), enabling WPS to monetize digital distribution, prevent unlawful copying and revenue loss, adapt during COVID-19, expand into telehealth/telepractice, and open new digital revenue streams.
