Case Study: The International Society of Automation achieves IP protection and secure member content delivery with Vitrium Security

A Vitrium Case Study

Preview of the International Society of Automation Case Study

The International Society of Automation uses Vitrium Security to ensure its intellectual property and copyrighted material are protected from being modified, copied, printed, or redistributed

The International Society of Automation (ISA), a global nonprofit association that publishes standards, technical reports and training materials, needed to prevent its copyrighted content from being modified, copied, printed or redistributed and to protect revenue from a members‑only subscription model. To address this, ISA selected Vitrium and its Vitrium Security solution to secure and control distribution of its digital assets.

Vitrium implemented Vitrium Security (Enterprise), enabling ISA to upload protected PDFs, create Secure Web Links, enforce DRM controls (printing/copy restrictions), and integrate with ISA’s Personify AMS and Single Sign‑On without requiring plug‑ins. The solution stopped unauthorized sharing, made content easy for members to access, reduced IT maintenance overhead, and helped ISA protect its intellectual property and subscription revenue.
