Nita Uses Vitrium Security To Protect Its Copyrighted Training Documents

The National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA), a nonprofit that provides legal advocacy skills training, faced widespread copying and unauthorized sharing of its revenue-generating PDF training materials because it previously distributed unprotected files by email and mail. NITA selected Vitrium and its Vitrium Security DRM solution to find a simple, cost‑effective, and user‑friendly way to protect copyrighted content while keeping access easy for paying customers.

Using Vitrium Security, NITA uploads PDFs into the platform and applies DRM policies—setting who can view documents, how long access lasts, and how many devices can open a file—without requiring customers to install plug‑ins. As a result of Vitrium’s encryption and controls, NITA now sends protected materials with greater confidence and has reduced (and in many cases eliminated) illegal distribution, unauthorized sharing, and copying of its training resources.
