HPB Education Foundation - Customer Case Study

HPB Education Foundation, the Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Education Foundation, is a nonprofit that publishes NFI Reference Manuals and runs the National Fireplace Institute certification program. Facing costly, cumbersome print distribution and the need to make manuals searchable and more accessible while protecting revenue, HPB Education Foundation turned to Vitrium and its Vitrium Security DRM for PDF protection.

HPB Education Foundation converted its manuals to PDF and used Vitrium Security to lock the files, offering an easy-to-use admin interface and protected PDFs that open in Adobe Reader/Acrobat without plugins. By going digital with Vitrium, the foundation made content more accessible to customers and saw an increase in revenues from the sale of its manual packages.
