Vitec’s Ez Tv Iptv and Digital Signage Platform Delivers Unprecedented User Experience and Fan Engagement in Sacramento Kings New Arena Golden 1 Center

The Sacramento Kings’ Golden 1 Center in downtown Sacramento set out to become the world’s most technologically advanced sports and entertainment venue, but needed a reliable way to deliver broadcast-quality video and digital signage across 755 displays throughout the arena. Working with VITEC and its EZ TV IPTV and Digital Signage platform, the team needed low-latency streaming, centralized content management, and a solution that could scale across concourses, suites, clubs, and concession areas while remaining future-proof for evolving fan engagement needs.

VITEC implemented its EZ TV IPTV and Digital Signage platform, along with hardware-based end-points and Blade System encoders, to provide synchronized HD streaming, digital signage, menu boards, and IPTV from a single interface. The result was a highly engaging fan experience with low-latency, flawlessly synchronized content across the venue, allowing administrators to manage up to 16 in-house feeds, 16 menu board channels, and 74 TV channels. VITEC also helped the Kings create video-rich signage campaigns and optimize every screen in the arena for concerts, events, and basketball games.
