Vitec Ez Tv Iptv Streaming Platform Delivers Live and on-demand Content

The U.S. Air Force Academy’s Center for Character and Leadership Development at Polaris Hall needed an affordable, secure way to distribute digital signage and record and stream training sessions and guest speeches across its 46,000-square-foot facility. Working with VITEC, the Academy sought a simple, versatile platform that could deliver live and on-demand video with low latency and high quality from anywhere on campus.

VITEC implemented its EZ TV IPTV system with MGW 1100 blade encoders to create, store, manage, and distribute HD and SD video over the Academy’s existing IP network. The solution enabled nine channels to be shared across hallway displays, collaboration rooms, conference rooms, desktops, and mobile devices, while also supporting encryption and Active Directory integration for security. As a result, the Academy gained a scalable, cost-effective video platform that improved content delivery, collaboration, and access to live and on-demand programming.
