Exterity Digital Signage Solution Shows the Way in Luxury Hotel and Convention Centre

Grand Hyatt Dubai needed a more reliable and automated digital signage platform to support guest communication across its large luxury hotel and convention center. The existing system had limited integration, weak automation, and slow support response, creating problems for welcoming screens and other time-sensitive messaging. VITEC, through Exterity digital signage technology, was selected after a proof of concept and tender process.

VITEC implemented an end-to-end solution featuring ArtioSign digital signage software, AvediaPlayer r9300 media players, and an AvediaServer c1510 with m8115 module. The system was deployed across 26 displays in conference areas, entrances, exits, and meeting rooms, delivering HD visuals and easy content updates. The biggest result was reliability: Grand Hyatt Dubai reported no unscheduled downtime for nearly three years, while also gaining faster updates and a path to greater automation through integration with guest management systems.
