Buffalo Bills Choose Vitec’s Iptv Video Streaming System for Hd Video at Ralph Wilson Stadium

Buffalo Bills, the NFL team at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park, NY, needed a better way to deliver low-latency, broadcast-quality HD video to hundreds of monitors across their renovated 70,000-seat venue. Working with VITEC, they sought a cost-effective IPTV system that could manage the right content to the right displays at the right time, while also giving private suites an individually controlled TV experience.

VITEC implemented an end-to-end IPTV video streaming solution using the MGW 1100 encoding platform and EZ TV IPTV portal/set-top box management. The system delivered pristine HD H.264 video with ultra-low latency to more than 920 stadium televisions and video walls, simplified wiring, enabled centralized control of channels, volume, and power, and improved both fan engagement and digital signage support across the stadium.
