Bayer UK Headquarters Builds Innovative Collaborative Spaces With State-of-the-art Exterity IP Video

Bayer UK, part of Bayer AG, wanted to refresh its headquarters in Reading to support a more agile, collaborative way of working. As part of this workplace transformation, Bayer needed to replace dated audio/video infrastructure with simple, consistent, and easy-to-use systems for meeting rooms, presentation suites, and shared spaces. Vendor VITEC, through its Exterity IP video solution, was part of the technology set considered for the project.

VITEC’s Exterity-based solution, delivered by systems integrator Focus 21, spanned four floors and more than 60 rooms and collaborative areas, using AvediaStream encoders and gateways, AvediaPlayer media players, and AvediaServer management. The system streams world news, sports, and BayerHub digital signage content across the campus, helping improve employee engagement and support business operations. The result was a modern, flexible, and scalable AV/IT environment that inspired staff and enabled Bayer’s workplace culture change.
