Atlanta Hawks unify 440+ displays with VITEC to enhance fan experience

The Atlanta Hawks sought a flexible IPTV and digital signage solution to be deployed across two separate facilities: the State Farm Arena and their new Emory Practice Facility. Their challenge was to find a system that could provide centralized control, display both live TV and digital signage from local sources, and connect both locations to a single platform. They partnered with VITEC to implement its IPTV and Digital Signage Platform.

VITEC implemented a centralized IPTV system from a single server at the State Farm Arena that controls over 350 endpoints at the arena and more than 90 at the practice facility. The solution provided low latency, high-quality streaming and enabled dynamic advertising, enhancing the fan experience with live game feeds throughout the concourse. For the Hawks, VITEC's platform streamlined operations, offered significant sponsorship opportunities for global partners, and provided automation tools to reduce power consumption and simplify content management across both venues.
