Signature Healthcare faced low and uneven employee engagement in workplace wellness: previous vendors lasted only a year or two and the organization lacked a management system to track participation or drive behavior change. Last August’s “Wellness Week” and a leadership-led push to make wellness a strategic goal helped, and Signature Healthcare chose Vitality for its year‑round engagement platform—including Vitality Points, Vitality Bucks, device connectivity and the easy Vitality Health Review—to better support sustained diet, exercise and education activities.

Vitality implemented a flexible, community‑based program supported by 50+ Vitality Champs, department-level challenges and rewards (including grocery incentives through the HealthyFood program), while Signature Healthcare leadership integrated wellness into daily huddles and performance goals. The combined approach produced a sharp increase in event engagement and members achieving Gold Vitality Status, more employees walking the campuses, and a corporate target to have 36% of employees reach platinum or gold levels—demonstrating measurable improvements in participation and culture driven by Vitality.
