Manufacturing and technology company embraces healthy food initiative to make healthy living affordable and easy

Barry-Wehmiller, a diversified global manufacturing and technology company with nearly 7,000 team members, sought a more innovative, personal and scalable wellness solution after reaching a plateau with its previous vendor. The company wanted a program that would drive real behavior change, support global expansion, and make healthier living affordable and easy — goals it pursued by partnering with Vitality and adopting the Vitality program, including the Vitality Personal Pathway and HealthyFood benefits.

Vitality implemented a personalized, multi-channel wellness platform with educational courses, the Vitality Health Review, HealthyFood subsidies, activity incentives and wellness rebates, plus local Vitality Champs to sustain culture change. Within the first 10 months of the new Vitality program cycle Barry-Wehmiller achieved 88.5% participation, 79% Health Review completion, 20% at Silver Vitality Status or higher, more than 170 Platinum members, 23% physical activity engagement and 79% educational activity engagement.
