E&J Gallo Winery, one of the largest wineries in the US with over 7,000 blue- and white-collar employees, faced the challenge of keeping a distributed, essential workforce engaged and supported as corporate staff shifted to remote work during the COVID-19 pandemic. To address communication and care gaps for onsite hourly staff and remote employees, Gallo partnered with Vitality to leverage its on-site clinic and virtual care channels.

Vitality worked through the on-site clinic to deliver COVID-19 testing and vaccination information and to expand virtual primary care and behavioral health services, making care accessible whether employees were onsite or remote. The program tripled the clinic’s weekly call volume for virtual care and COVID support, helped employees feel more connected and comfortable returning to work, and improved access to primary and behavioral health through Vitality’s services.
