City and County of Denver - Customer Case Study

The City and County of Denver, with over 200 locations and 32 departments, faced the challenge of streamlining and personalizing wellbeing offerings for thousands of employees with diverse roles and needs. To address this, the city partnered with Vitality and deployed the Vitality platform to create a cohesive, whole-person wellness program covering professional, mental, financial, and physical wellbeing.

Using Vitality, Denver integrated services (confidential health nurses, My Secure Advantage financial tools, an employee fitness center, and RethinkCare mental/neurodiversity support) into a single app and incentivized activities like safe driving, volunteering, and career development. The results: 72% of eligible employees registered, about 60% are active monthly (averaging 18 activities per active user), 68% completed a Health Risk Assessment, 50% completed biometric screenings, highly engaged members rose from 9% to 29% since launch, and members average 181 verified workouts per year.
