Keolis Rennes, a subsidiary of Keolis Group operating the STAR bus and metro network for Rennes Métropole, runs a range of mobility services and employs over 1,000 people. As the workforce grew, the control and security teams found Excel-based rostering insufficient and needed a flexible, collaborative scheduling solution to optimize planning, deployment and teamwork.

Keolis implemented Visual Planning (OnPremise) to build daily roadmaps, centralize schedule information and give managers fine-grained visibility of resources and activity. Used by about a hundred employees, the tool improved inspectors’ fieldwork, streamlined processes, boosted productivity and internal communication, and saved time while adapting to the company’s operational constraints.
