A Visual Planning Case Study
Keolis Rennes, a major public transport operator, needed a better way to manage working hours, absences and field tasks for ticket inspectors and safety/mediation teams across its bus and metro networks. Until recently the department relied on Excel, which made it difficult to quickly view schedules, coordinate resources on the ground, and produce reliable activity reports and monthly scorecards.
Keolis deployed Visual Planning (10 editor and 15 read-only licenses) to centralize schedules, task locations/durations and event reporting; full rollout with the new version took six months. The tool delivered faster schedule visibility, improved resource coordination, useful event reports for scorecards and staffing monitoring, easier supply/use tables, and responsive after-sales support.
