VGM Group cuts training time and boosts usability with Visual Logic

The VGM Group faced a significant challenge with its decade-old internal software, VIPER. Used by over 500 employees to manage patient orders for in-home medical services, the legacy system was complex and confusing, leading to a nearly six-month training period and high employee turnover. To decrease training time and reduce turnover, VGM partnered with vendor Visual Logic to reimagine the entire user experience.

Visual Logic redesigned the platform by immersing themselves in the employee workflow to build a system that matched how users actually worked. They streamlined a key form from a 12-tab process into a single, context-aware screen and established a scalable design system. The solution made the system dramatically easier to learn and use, with 78% of users reporting that the new experience was easier, which eliminated training woes and laid the foundation for long-term efficiency.
