Fastems, the independent robot system manufacturer, needed a faster way to create sales offers, plan layouts, and support robot programming without being tied to specific robot brands. Working with Visual Components, Fastems replaced much of its CAD-based process with a simulation platform to speed up layout creation and improve flexibility across different robot marques.

With Visual Components, Fastems can now create detailed layout simulations quickly, share interactive 3D PDF layouts, and cover about 90% of robot programming through simulation. The results were significant: annual offers increased from around 50 to 200–250, layout planning became much faster, and robot programming time dropped from 3–4 days to just 2–3 hours, with offline programming completed in about 2 days.
